I wanted to capture the most important elements of the festival – the music, the nature, the camping, and of course, the hot air balloon – but with a more whimsical feel, which was inspired by the intricate designs of Theory 11 playing cards. There are six hidden messages/elements (Easter eggs, if you will) throughout the poster, including a shout out to Red Frog’s hometown and my team’s initials.
